“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.” —Oprah Winfrey
It’s world gratitude day, as I sit here updating my gratitude journal I thank God for all he has provided me with, it has been a tough year, but I’m still running strong. Literally.

Taking the time each day to give thanks has changed my approach to life. I started a gratitude diary earlier in the year. You can read about the start of my journey here. It started off as a diary entry, then a hand lettering piece for each day now it’s a diy bunting collection on the post in my room.

Today I’m grateful that I have a loving family and roof over my head. I’m grateful to have a great day at university. I’m grateful to catch up with my friends who I haven’t seen in a while. I’m grateful to have a seat on the train so I could read my book. I’m grateful the sun was shining today. I’m grateful for the wonderful running community who’s supported me on my blogging journey. The list could go on…

What are you grateful for today? Do you keep a gratitude journal let me know in the comments below.

I don’t keep a gratitude journal, but I write what I’m grateful for on slips pf paper and put them in a glass jar. When it gets full, I pour them out and read them all. It’s really fun and helps me get into an attitude of gratitude. Plus when I see my jar on the counter when I walk by, it reminds me to be grateful.
What a great idea! I love the fact that you go through and read them all at a later date.
I love your gratitude blog! I am grateful for life itself and for God being a provider for my family! I love writing in my Mood Journal. It helps me stay focused on what’s important in life.
So true couldn’t agree more about helping you stay focused!
This is a very inspiring post! It was a good reminder to stop for a moment, take a step back and look at how many amazing things I have in my life 🙂
Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed it!
